What's This About?

Starting a professional creative career is nothing more than terrifying, trying to live your life in a way that hopefully doesn't speed past you while pursuing your dreams. The lifestyle and expectations that surround it, the humiliation, the struggle. And yet...

Why do we still do it? Why and how do we put up with all of these stupid hardships, disappointments, and ultimately, failure?

Because we love it.

In February 20th, 2013, I packed up my life and moved out to sunny Los Angeles, California, where I am hoping to find my career, as possibly myself, through a craft that ebbs and flows between pure and utter bliss to resentful hatred, with bit of fun and failed attempts at life sprinkled around here and here.

I'm using this blog to chronicle my journey out here while simultaneously seeing if any growth happens as well (spoiler alert: it does!)
